DESCRIPTION:Hosted by New Jersey Paranormal Investigations \nNew Jersey Paranormal Investigations is hosting an additional exclusive event at the Bolton Mansion in Levittown\, PA. Because our November investigation sold out in less than 6 hours\, they allowed us an additional date right before Halloween!!! \nWe will be holding a 9 hour ghost hunt starting at 7pm to 4am that will include the apartment that has never before been accessible for investigating. In the many years we have held events here\, the apartment was always occupied. Now we are going to be the first team to be able to see if the activity extends into the apartment section. \nThe original section of the house was completed in 1687. For one hundred three years\, the house existed only as the original\, one-room. Then\, in 1790\, The Federal style addition was added to the building. The section to the east of the Phineas Pemberton house has been dated at 1810-1820. The apartment that we now have access to is over the original sections of the house. \nHistoric Bolton Mansion has been on the paranormal radar for more than 50 years. Stories of several spirits including the little girl who is seen looking out of the double windows on the second floor\, the woman in the white dress walking the property and even a ghost cat prowling the floors. These are just some of the spirits who still live in this building. \nDuring renovations they received reports from contractors of seeing children playing on stair landings and adult spirits running from room to room. Our own team has had many experiences in this location including a door opening on its own in the main parlor room\, countless hits on equipment in the basement and throughout the house\, and EVP’s captured. This is a favorite location of our own team member Sandy\, who will be at the event the whole evening. \nJoin us on October 28\, 2023 from 7pm – 4am. \nTickets are $130 per person – Limited to only 12 people. DESCRIPTION:It is hard to look at Bolton Mansion and not see the hand of Effingham Morris. He created a unique Colonial Revival structure that we think of as Bolton Mansion. However\, there’s more to the story. The rear wing provides numerous about early (18th and/or 19th century) Bucks County farmhouses. Such stone houses are rare in lower Bucks County where native stone was not readily available. Come learn about what is typical and what is unique about the oldest house in Levittown from Jeff Marshall\, the county’s most prominent architectural historian who grew up in Levittown. \nJeff will walk guests around the outside of Historic Bolton Mansion while talking about its architecture. You will then be invited inside to walk around the 1st floor of the Mansion. \nAdditional Information: \nAttire: A portion of this event is outside. You will be walking the grounds on uneven terrain. DESCRIPTION:Hosted by Mommy’s Lil Black Book and Historic Bolton Mansion \nCome in costume and join us for a spook-tacular time at the “haunted” Bolton Mansion for Boo at Bolton: Food Truck Fest & Trick-or-Treat on 10/18 from 11am-4pm!\n\nEnjoy food trucks\, beer/cocktail garden\, moonbounces\, balloon art\, face painting\, a DJ\, stuffed animal making\, trick-or-treating (from 12-2pm and while supplies last)\, petting zoo\, glitter tattoos\, pony rides\, vendors/crafters\, kid-friendly ghost tours of the mansion (not scary – just fun) and more!\n\nInterested vendors\, please email jen@mommyslilblackbook.com to register!\n\nKid Friendly Ghost Tours\nTour times below: \n11:20 am\n11:40 am\n12:00 pm\n12:20 pm\n1:00 pm\n1:20 pm\n1:40 pm\n2:00 pm\n2:20 pm\n2:40 pm\n3:00 pm\n3:20 pm \nCost of tours is $10 per person. Ages 5 and under are free. \n**All tickets are being sold online \n**Tickets will not be available at the door \n**Tours are limited to 10 people per tour. \n**Your PayPal receipt is your ticket. \n**Large strollers won’t be able to be brought inside the mansion due to narrow doorways.  Please consider bringing a small/umbrella type stroller if a stroller is needed. \nQuestions for tours can be sent to fhparanormal@aol.com.

DESCRIPTION:Join author Norman E. Donoghue on Tuesday April 21st as he discusses his book “Prisoners of Congress: Philadelphia’s Quakers in Exile\, 1777-1778″  which focuses on the Quaker experience during the American Revolution. His book chronicles an untold story of Quaker men who were exiled during this time\, 5 of which were Pemberton members. \nBook autographed by the author will be available for purchase. \nThis event is made possible in part by a mini-grant from Bucks250PA.
